  1. Thumbs up. I workout in the mornings right after waking up because I have no time to go to the gym during the day. I literally jump out of bed and rush to the gym without having had breakfast, because I don't feel like working out with a full stomach. Nevertheless, I never feel weak or dizzy and can push through my workout (mainly moderate cardio) pretty well. After that, I'll have my breakfast with alle the due carbs and protein. I heard working out with an empty stomach helps you burn fat, but I was also told you need to have your sugar before training if you want to shed weight. I still don't know what's best for me, honestly!

  2. You're the best Alyssia! Another awesome video.

Thank you! Nothing is 100% accurate, eat healthy, drink water, and move your body!

  5. Debbie Glass says:

I like to eat a banana before workout.

  6. very well said!!!

  7. I loved the music on this video! ;)

I usually eat plain Greek yogurt with fruit before and eat lunch after. I don't like the idea of having a "post-workout meal" and then lunch, it makes me feel like I'm consuming too much lol. I only eat the yogurt as part 2 of my breakfast since my initial breakfast is usually pretty low in calories (but it's full of vitamins, protein, and fiber).

  9. that's the same exact reason why I eat pre and post workout 🙂
If i don't eat post workout, I feel super sore the next day so now I know that I must eat afterwards (usually greek yogurt + kiwi)

You know what would be super helpful, an episode on the difference between the different fats. I.e. Coconut oil, olive oil, etc.

  13. I already drink "a lot" of water, but I really don't know how much.  So I will take up the challenge and track this week. Thanks for the inspiration.

I wish you would make a video on staying full. I seem to always be hungry and I don't know why. I try to drink 8 glasses of water a day and I incorporate fiber into my meals. I know I'm missing I just wish I could figure out what.

This is great, listen to the body! When people ask me that is essentially what I tell them. Wonderful.

  16. I love your videos. There is so much information out there that things can get confusing. I have a skinny friend who works out, is in optimum health, and she never eats breakfast. I, on the other hand, must have breakfast so my blood sugar doesn't tank. We're all different.

  17. Excellent video ! ! love you channel ???????? I watch from France, continue you give me motivation and inspiration ;)

  18. I was oddly excited when you called us, "munchies." Hahaha! That's a cute nickname, I like it. ;)

  19. Love your channel. Always so helpful.

Thanks so much for all of the informative videos. Can you please make a video on getting good started with weight lifting? I would like to work mostly with weights but don't know how to formulate a workout and when to work what muscle groups and how. Thank you very much!!

I watch and like you because you give the info so I can make the appropriate decision for ME. Simple truth is, we are not all the same. Thanks for the info.

  22. my doubt has.been cleared????
    thanks all

  23. I can't eat anything pre-workout. I always feel sluggish, heavy and sometimes I even make myself sick. Over the years I've tried different types of foods, different amounts and eating at varied times, but it's always the same. After a workout though, I'm all for hitting up an all you can eat buffet!

  24. Jean Woodall says:

I don't usually eat before a workout because I'm not hungry then. Plus I would probably vomit if I did. My favorite post workout meal is sinigang – Filipino sour soup of course. From the mini bone broth healing and all the vegetables i put in mine it's great for me.

What does everyone use to track their steps?

I love how you said to just listen to how you feel. I've seen that if I eat anything less than three hours before a weights session I just end up feeling nauseous and dizzy during the session, and I'm not really in the mood to eat anything very heavy afterwards. But since I like to do weights in the evening, as long as I have a decent sized lunch, I'm ready to go by the time my workday ends.
