Strength and toning is the focus in today’s total body workout. Using dumbbells for resistance, compound exercises and multiple reps will help you receive maximum results by targeting multiple muscle groups at once. Grab those weights and follow along!

Workout Breakdown:
Warm Up
Circuit 1 (40s work + 20s rest x3 rounds)
– Squat, Curtsey + Curl
– Lunge + Press (R)
– Lunge + Press (L)
– Down Dog Push Up
– Squat + Punch
Circuit 2 (40s work + 20s rest x3 rounds)
– Deadlift + Raise
– Side Lunge + Raise
– Glute Bridge + Press
– Bent Over Row
– Weighted Jacks
Cool Down & Stretch

Equipment Needed: dumbbells (I’m using a set of 5lbs, 10lbs and 15lbs) + exercise mat or other soft surface. The Mat I use:

  28. Wow, this one today was great, I just loved those compound movements, targeting so many muscles … would love to see more workouts like this. Or maybe try to incorporate some other equippment, like sliders, bands etc. This one wiped me out, specially in the first part … I am on a little calorie deficit and I was so weak 🙂

    Wow that definitely got my heart rate up. Thank you for a great workout! Can I please make a suggestion for future workouts. I enjoy variety and get quite bored repeating sets. I love workouts where they repeat the move 2 or 3 times in a row and then move on to the next. Maybe you could try this in a future workout and see how others like it too? Thanks again xx
